If you're looking for a kid-friendly way to celebrate Pride this weekend without leaving the neighborhood, Reuben's Brews is where it's at.
Their Annual Family Pride Fest will be hosted the Ballard Taproom on Saturday, June 13. The day-long party runs noon to 7 p.m., is free, and is open to all ages.
The taproom at 5010 14th Ave NW will have face painting, a hat decorating station, a rainbow wings photo booth, friendship bracelet making, and Pride Plinko. DJ Summersoft spins from 3 to 7 p.m. Dogs are welcome. The brewery says the fest raises money for Seattle Pride but hasn't specified the fundraising mechanism. Reuben's Brews is an official sponsor of Seattle Pride this year.
The family-owned brewery, named after the co-founders' firstborn child, has held the fest in prior years and welcomes kids year-round.
