The grass behind Small Faces school in Crown Hill will become a movie theater again on Friday, August 14.
The Crown Hill Village Association is bringing back its free annual outdoor movie night, screening "The Princess Bride" at Crown Hill Park. Gates open at 7 p.m., the film rolls at dusk, and the whole thing wraps by 10 p.m.
The association is billing the evening as a full neighborhood hangout, not just a screening. The event includes games, hot popcorn, snacks, and a photo booth before the movie starts.
There's also a costume contest: show up dressed as Inigo Montoya, Buttercup, or the Dread Pirate Roberts and you could win the Best-Dressed prize.
Bring blankets or low chairs. No elevated seating.
