Two more Ingraham High School seniors-in-cap-and-gown visits remain on the calendar for Ballard and Queen Anne families.
The visits are part of a Senior Grad Walk tradition in which graduating seniors return to their former elementary and K-8 schools in full regalia.
According to Ingraham's website, participating schools opt in individually, and the school updates its list "as we are notified." Thirteen schools across the district are hosting walks this year.
Ingraham students will visit Greenwood Elementary on Monday, June 15, at 2:45 p.m., and John Hay Elementary (111 Boston St., Queen Anne) on Tuesday, June 16, at 8:50 a.m.
Salmon Bay K-8 (1810 NW 65th St., Ballard) held its walk Friday, June 12, at 2:30 p.m. Loyal Heights Elementary hosted on Wednesday, June 10, and Whittier Elementary earlier on Friday, June 12, at 8:45 a.m.
The walks follow Ingraham's formal commencement, led by Principal Zack Elvig on Wednesday, June 10, at 4:30 p.m. at Ingraham Stadium. The ceremony was livestreamed on the school's YouTube channel.
The same week Ingraham seniors walk Salmon Bay's halls, Salmon Bay's own eighth graders hold their promotion ceremony at Ingraham High School on Tuesday, June 16, at 7 p.m.
